During childbirth, the baby rests in the father’s arms—an exhilarating, shocking, and incredibly powerful moment. It marks the culmination of a long journey filled with hardships and years of infertility struggles. And now, here you are, holding your child—words cannot express the emotions coursing through you.
And the dad… He admits that initially, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be present to cut the cord, but when the moment arrived, he realized there was nothing he wanted more. He “freaks” his own child with his bare hands, places the baby on the mother’s chest, and in that instant, he becomes a father. It’s an unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In a personal Facebook post, he shared: “I wasn’t even planning to watch, but I was told I could be there and hand the baby to my wife. Then, my instincts kicked in, and it turned out to be the best thing I’ve ever done.”
