Occupation: Rainfall Chapter 1 is a 2020 Australian science fiction action film written and directed by Luke Sparke. This film is a sequel to the 2018 movie Occupation.
Plot Summary: Two years after the alien invasion and occupation, the human resistance in Sydney, Australia, uncovers information about an alien operation named “Rainfall,” which is somehow connected to Pine Gap. Though details are scarce, a team of three, including an alien defector, sets out to investigate. The resistance in Sydney faces a devastating attack, leading to the destruction of the city. The survivors retreat to a military base in the mountains, which is soon overwhelmed and destroyed as well.
WATC MOVIE:
The reconnaissance team reaches Pine Gap, which turns out to be a U.S. intelligence base. Despite its surface destruction, the base hosts two quirky survivors. They discover that “Rainfall” is an artificial asteroid hidden beneath the base, created by the aliens with potentially advanced technological capabilities. A hasty plan to destroy the asteroid is formulated but fails, and the asteroid ultimately falls into the hands of the attacking aliens.
