Saab Secures Major Contract with Poland for SIGINT Ships

Saab has sealed a significant deal with the Polish State Treasury Armament Agency, marking a milestone in naval intelligence capabilities. The contract encompasses the design, production, and support of two Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) ships for Poland, with an impressive total order value of approximately EUR 620 million. Delivery timelines are set for 2027, with Saab expected to finalize the booking before the year concludes, pending the fulfillment of specific financial conditions.

SIGINT ships play a pivotal role in gathering intelligence data across diverse naval intelligence domains. As the prime contractor, Saab will spearhead the design and manufacturing processes for the two vessels, integrating cutting-edge mission systems to enhance operational effectiveness. Partnering with subcontractor Remontowa Shipbuilding SA in Poland, Saab aims to ensure seamless execution, with all stipulated conditions slated for fulfillment by the close of 2022.
